Why Meditate?

Meditation is a magical experience. It has the potential to change one’s life in a very short amount of time. Here are 11 reasons why.
- It puts you in the receiving mode. All that you’ve been grinding for has the space to come to you when you meditate.
- It reduces stress. Being still and connecting with your breath has the ability to reduce stress. Meditating as a regular practice is great medicine.
- It creates a sense of peace. The simple act of taking the time to sit and be still allows you to experience a sense of connection with oneself that invokes a sense of peace, love, and inner knowing.
- It makes you smarter. Research shows that meditation increases the gray matter in your brain allowing you to access (and use) more of your brain’s potential.
- It increases creativity and productivity. Meditating allows your thoughts to slow down and even stop, creating the space for inspiration, fresh ideas, and possibility.
- It helps you break cycles and release old patterns. Meditating gives you the time and space to feel, experience, and become aware of what is going on within. Many people run from meditation because it connects them to feelings and emotions they’d prefer to numb. However, with consistent practice you learn to process and let go of these emotions - then you can stop running from the things that trigger these emotions -- creating the space for new experiences and opportunities.
- It increases your intuition.
- It expands your awareness. Over time as you become stiller within and feel a mastery of self, you will become more and more present to the beauty in your life.
- It expands your imagination. As you remain in the state of marvel and curiosity more and more your imagination has the freedom to run wild. New connections, patterns, pathways will become readily available and accessible.
- Life will become easier. As your imagination increases -- you release old patterns and heal you will become present to the ease and grace that life presents.
- Your consciousness expands. Last but definitely not least. Each benefit of meditation leads to the ultimate joy - expanded consciousness. The desire to evolve and grow is a natural human instinct.
With meditation over time, the natural flow of life supports your involution and evolution. Experiences, opportunities, and the level of joy you previously thought impossible become your new reality or your new normal. With expanded consciousness, you can readily step into your next level - without force, ‘hard work’, or grind. Just flow.
Again. Way easier. And easy is not a bad word. Easy allows you to be, do, and have more of what you want.
